Concrete is very pretty now. Stained concrete is beautiful!! It can also be recycled and include fly ash. I like some concrete but like to also have some pervious all weather surfaces- decomposed granite, stone set in sand and / or decomposed granite.
I agree that there are thousand of ways we can use the concrete to change the look of our garden. But they are best suitable for large gardens.
very interesting, beats mowing that’s for sure! Paint it green and park the car on it!

The gardening landscape is a good and beautifful thing, but it takes a lot of time and money.
Excellent idea and I’m sure this will really catch on with pet owners.
I quite agree with “flowers” but it doesn’t matter how much money you spend for gardening. I think that it’s a hobby and it’s very interesting.
Greta post. I love the look of concrete anyway. And in gardens, it makes the plants seem more like part of the home. It is pretty expensive for concrete molding and shapes.
Well, I prefer natural stone but concrete will do when one can’t afford quarried stone materials. Nice article.
Great post! I like this landscape concrete garden idea as well. I think this is not new to anyone and I do agree that it can also be useful to help keep unwanted visitors out. To make it more attractive, one can use white pebbles or marble bricks. Thanks for the tips!
Fantastic post hurray! Never stop learning. Thanks for the learning. Kindly take a glance on my site
I’m all for low maintenance landscaping but too much hardscape can look lifeless. Be sure to use a few large container gardens to soften all that hard concrete and add life and color to your property.
I’m not a big fan of raw concrete. I find the colored, textured finishes much more appealing, and not too expensive.
Concrete is very tough and long lasting but is not very pretty. Painting, tiling or some stone work will help increase its appeal.
